About Us
Calvert Design Group, Inc. was founded in 2002 by Mr. Brian Raines, but our roots in the web go back to the very early days of the Internet. Brian was an instrumental figure in expanding the use of the Internet in the U.S. Senate. Brian designed one of the first web pages available for a United States Senator when he developed a website for then U.S. Senator Bill Bradley (D-NJ) in 1995.
Later in his career in the U.S. Senate, his work on the U.S. Senate website redesign for the 106th Congress won a prestigious Federal Design Achievement Award from the General Services Administration (GSA).
Brian also serves on the Calvert County Technology Council and the Board of County Commissioners Citizen's Advisory Committee for Calvert County.
